- Кусты мощные, высота 1.6-1.8 м, по другим источникам до 2 м. Побеги вертикально-направленные, крепкие, прочные, мощные – у основания до 1.5 см благодаря чему в народе получила название древовидной, покрыты шипами. Шипы редкие, светло-коричневые (не черные), не крупные. Плодоносная зона 2/3 стебля, начинается на высоте 50-60 см. Подвязка нужна – сильные ветра могут накренять растения, валить на землю.
- Лист ярко-зеленый морщинистый, не опадает, не желтеет до самого ноября: особенность Брусвяны – длительный вегетационный период.
- Побегообразовательная способность отличная, дает много корневой поросли, побегов замещения (до 6-8 шт, в первый год меньше) – размножение без проблем.
- Ягода ярко-красная, матовая, без блеска, конусообразно-вытянутой формы. Сочная, мясистая, с миниатюрными семенами, сладкая с богатой вкусовой гаммой, кислинка уместна и не навязчива. Костянка хорошо сцеплена. Вес 5-7 г в средней массе, первые до 7-8 г, при капельном орошении, интенсивной агротехники размер значительно увеличивается. По отзывам, размер в среднем 22 х 22 мм. Плоды крепкие, плотные, пригодны к транспортировке – достаточная сочность не делает мягкими, непригодными к перевозке и хранению.
- Морозостойкость хорошая, по отзывам, порядка 30 С и выше.
- Устойчива к основным болезням на уровне стандартного сортамента.
