Описание сорта
Ягоды большого размера (28-34 г), имеют форму удлиненного конуса, ярко-красного цвета с глянцевым покрытием, одномерные. Мякоть нежно-красного цвета, сладкая, без внутренних пустот, имеет выраженный земляничный аромат. Плодоножка от ягоды отрывается легко.
Согласно своим техническим характеристикам Азия пригодна для длительной транспортировки за счет средней плотности мякоти, а также длительного сорта хранения в условиях умеренных температур.
Сорт среднераннего срока созревания, ему свойственны продолжительный период плодоношения и средний уровень урожайности в размере около 1-1,2 кг с куста. Это по-настоящему универсальный сорт клубники, поскольку подходит он и для употребления в свежем виде, и для замораживания, а также приготовления заготовок на зиму.
Кусты большие, среднеоблиственные, широкие, с небольшим количеством толстых усов. Листья крупные, зеленого цвета с блеском, слегка морщинистые. Побеги высокие, толстые с большим количеством цветоносов.
Садовая земляника Азия демонстрирует средние показатели зимостойкости и засухоустойчивости, на уровне сорта Мармелада. Она устойчива ко многим заболеваниям корневой системы, грибковым заболеваниям.
